Nora McDougall-Collins

"Sure, I can do that!" Can Get You Into Trouble

Bio:
Nora McDougall-Collins has been working in the web development industry since 1997, when she started working for townnews.com, a company with proprietary CMS software developed specifically for community newspapers. Since that time, she went on to complete both a degree in International Business and Computer Science, developing training and web development skills to support her education.

Abstract:
Working with small business clients will make you laugh and pull your hair out at the same time. Nora will discuss how to be a small business babysitter, how to laugh, how to let a client go, how to be tolerant with a client’s foibles and how to be amazed and in awe at working with small business and organization owners and staff.
