Case Study: Building Sophisticated HTML5 Apps

Michael Paulson is an MSU graduate and accomplished MIT BattleCode veteran. When he’s not dreaming of touring the world as a standup comedian – he leverages those Javascript skills to build a robust client viewer with the latest technology in dependency resolution, unit testing, and automated testing (upon every save) and for building a better CI releasing mechanism. Integrating with standard Javascript libraries such as jQuery for dom manipulations and native GPU accelerated CSS3/HTML5 styling. Bringing together all the great practices of traditional software development in the wild world of Javascript.

Recently moved from the Midwest, Shane has 6 years experience developing RIA applications, primarily on the Flash/Flex platform and is finding joy and pain in the move to HTML5.
